Ime Okon has over 20 years of banking experience. He began his career at Zenith Bank Plc in 1996, holding roles in funds transfer, credit, marketing, and branch management. In 2007, he joined Keystone Bank and became Managing Director/CEO of its Sierra Leone branch in 2013.

He later founded an oil and gas company, Hanell Energy Group, in 2018. He holds diplomas and degrees in accounting and business management and is affiliated with multiple banking and finance institutes.

He has attended several international courses and earned recognition as the best foreign MD/CEO in Sierra Leone in 2016.
