Prior to his appointment as a non-Executive Director, Mr. Mike Akpan was a consultant at Institute of Export Operations & Management, Port Harcourt, a position he held since 2014.

He is a highly accomplished and result-driven professional. He has over 20 years of progressive banking experience spanning across Finance, Strategy, Risk Management, and Treasury having worked across Commercial, Merchant, and Agric Banks. He joined Ibom Mortgage Bank Limited in 2022.

He holds an MBA from University of Lagos and a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Economics from University of Ife, Ile-Ife.
